Appointments before 9am or after 7pm on weekdays, or at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, are subject to an additional charge of £15 per session.
We accept cash, card, cheque and bank transfer (BACs). Payment is due at the time of your appointment.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged at the full session rate.
If Chinese herbal medicine is prescribed as part of your treatment plan, this is charged separately based on the formula prescribed. Dr D'Alberto will discuss costs with you before prescribing. All herbs are sourced from pharmaceutical-grade suppliers and dispensed as granules (concentrated powders).
Your initial consultation fee covers a full case history, TCM tongue and pulse diagnosis, a personalised TCM diagnosis and treatment plan, and your first acupuncture treatment — all in one appointment. Dr D'Alberto takes the time necessary to understand your health fully before beginning treatment. Initial consultations typically last around one hour.
Follow-up sessions include a brief reassessment, treatment adjustment as needed, and a full acupuncture session. These typically last 45–60 minutes.
